Our new series of blogs will start with a contribution of Natalie Loick-Wilde, a young postdoc at the Leibniz Institute of Baltic Sea Research in Warnemünde.
Natalie is a marine biologist who is specialized on the marine nitrogen cycle - one of the great matter cycles which keep the life in the oceans going on. But beside her exciting research, moving to Atlanta for two years and a family, especially her 2 year old son Theo, keep her on her toes.
Get to know what has motivated her to become a marine biologist and how everyday life looks like if you have to balance science and child care between packing cases.
